Oracle has incredible architecture and is robust because it is effortless to organize different application data very well. The best thing for me is the SQL Engine that Oracle has, and I think it’s the only database (DB) that runs a data warehouse with a very advanced SQL Engine! Running complex queries in Oracle is straightforward. With other features like Materialized Views, PL/SQL, etc., Oracle database has a value for money.

Oracle database offers limited sharing support, limited scaling support, limited manageability, limited support help, somewhat limited clustering support (no master-master log shipping), and many vendor dependencies. Moreover, they are currently trying to catch up but haven’t seen so many bugs. I have declared that several alpha releases, beta releases, and systems are inadequate and unstable. Also, i haven’t seen many apparent bugs that should have been obvious before release or before compiling.
